A prominent structure in Martin County for more than 30 years, the First National Bank (now Seacoast Bank) building received a new roof in 1999. The existing tar and gravel roof was in poor shape with extensive ponding problems and constant leaks.
After using a system of “power brooming” and a roof vacuum to clean the roof of dirt, gravel, and other contaminants, Whiting Construction applied SPF with gravel applied over top.
The image to the left shows the spray application procedure in progress. The image to the right shows the completed project after the gravel was installed.
